Event Description

Todays class will focus on MILONGA LISA.

For those who don't know, MILONGA was the precursor to Tango. Originating in the 1870s in Buenos Aires it is a quick and lively paced dance with a 2/4 tempo. There are no pauses like in tango, rather the dancer focuses on rhythmic walking without complicated figures. Emphasis is placed on rhythm, connection and fun!

This class is suited to all dancers of all levels - even those who may have friends who do not dance tango but are used to moving their feet quickly (salsa!) may like to give it a go!
